The Gulf for Good Snow Hike is an excellent way to begin building up your fitness levels, working out both your legs and lungs. Hiking up and down the main slope increasing your own pace each time. We need to keep to the sides of the slope to minimise damage to the piste – you can peel off at any time if you do not wish to hike the full hour.

Great training for all trekking and high altitude challenges as it's a unique opportunity to try out your gear (hiking boots, poles etc.) as well as building up your mountain walking muscles in cooler temperatures.

WHO CAN ATTEND? All of our fitness sessions are open to everyone (over 16 years), even if you haven't signed up for a Gulf for Good challenge, just let us know you're coming! A great introduction to who we are and what we do.

WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING? Water, hiking shoes (shoes must have good grip), comfortable trousers (no jeans), fleece or thin jacket, hat, gloves.
