Cycle through Vietnam and Cambodia and raise money for charity

  |   February 1, 2017

If the Dubai Tour has you excited for cycling, sign up for next month’s Gulf for Good Great Asian Cycling Challenge from Vietnam to Cambodia.

The 350-kilometre cycle will be held from March 10 to 17 and will raise funds for Lotus Kids Club charity, which helps streetkids and their families in Cambodia.

The challenge starts in Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam, and ends with a sunset ride through Cambodia’s Angkor Wat temple.

The cycle is categorised as hard and involves several hours and up to 105km of cycling each day so good fitness levels are required. Gulf for Good will hold weekly training sessions in the lead-up to the challenge to help cyclists prepare.

Participants will need to raise Dh15,000, which includes trip costs and charity donation. There is also an additional non-refundable registration fee of Dh2,500.
