LATEST UPDATE- March 2014

The SNF bus bought by the G4G UAE 2011 challenge funds is here! The bus is bigger, better and makes the children happier as evidenced by the pictures taken on the day of the Bus reveal.

Getting a vehicle large enough to accommodate all the students for home rides. educational tours and trips was a long cherished dream for the center which became a reality this year.

According to Safis Bari, Director at SNF Development Center, safe mobility of the students can help unlock their potential and give a massive boost to their confidence.  Their safe transportation was the biggest challenge for the center and the parents alike. Several students were forced to abandon their training because of lack of reliable transportation in the past, but no more!

Jon William, Managing Director, Al-Futtaim Motors (pictured with G4G’s Tricia Evans), said, “We are very impressed by the work done by SNF and strongly believe in the center’s mission.  Supporting its efforts and initiatives helps us make a positive change to many lives within our local community”.

Original Information

Some of the funds left over from the UAE 2011 Cycle the Seven Emirates challenge have been assigned to SNF to acquire a bigger bus so as to comfortably commute students from their residences to the Center every day. The increasing number of students was making it difficult to accommodate them in the small van.

Gulf For Good with a special discount from Al Futtaim Motors has been able to get a 2014 Toyota Coaster for SNF (at cost).
