Day 1

Monday, 15th July

Upon arrival, take time to acclimate to the altitude of 3,250m by staying hydrated. Participate in an orientation city walk guided by a local expert.

Day 2

Tuesday, 16th July

Embark on a local acclimatization hike on the outskirts of Cusco, complete with a picnic lunch. Enjoy free time in the late afternoon to explore the vibrant city of Cusco.

Day 3

Wednesday, 17th July

Visit the Chicuchas Wasi School for Girls, providing support to over a hundred girls from impoverished backgrounds in Cusco.

Day 4

Thursday, 18th July

Begin the journey to Ollantaytambo town to commence the Inca Trail adventure. The afternoon’s hike follows an undulating trail above the captivating Urubamba river, concluding at the stunning Inca site of Llactapatae at 2,902m.

Day 5

Friday, 19th July

Trek from Llactapata to Llulluchapampa, ascending through breathtaking Inca paths adorned with hummingbirds and cloud forest to reach the campsite at Llulluchapampa (3,680m).

Day 6

Saturday, 20th July

Continue the journey from Llulluchapampa to Phuyupatamarca, crossing the iconic Dead Woman’s Pass (4,212m) and descending into the Pacaymayu valley. Camp at Phuyupatamarca, also known as ‘the place above the clouds’ (3,650m).

Day 7

Sunday, 21st July

Trek from Phuyupatamarca to Machu Picchu, descending through the lush cloud forest on stunning Inca stairways to Wiñay Wayna, another remarkable ruin teeming with swallows and orchids. Conclude the trek by arriving at Inti Punku, the gateway of the Sun.

Day 8

Monday, 22nd July

Enjoy a fully guided tour of Machu Picchu with the option to hike Huayna Picchu. Return to Cusco via train.

Day 9

Tuesday, 23rd July

Embark on a day trip to Palccoyo Rainbow Mountain, nestled within the Vilcanota Mountain range. Explore the unique formations of Bosque de Rocas (Rock Forest) at the trail’s highest point. Conclude the day with a celebratory dinner and immerse yourself in Cusco’s eclectic nightlife.

Day 10

Wednesday, 24th July

Depart from Cusco, concluding your memorable journey.
